Resolution 2015-081 RESOLUTION NO. 2015 - 81
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPOINTING PATRICIA SHERRY
AND REAPPOINTING TRACEY DEWRELL TO THE LAND
ACQUISITION ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 2002-63, established the Land Acquisition
Advisory Committee to assist the Board of County Commissioners in establishing an "Active
Properties Acquisition List" with qualified purchase recommendations consistent with the goals
of Conservation Collier; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2002-63, as amended, provides that this Advisory
Committee shall consist of seven to nine members representing the broad and balanced interests
of Collier County Citizens as set forth in the Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, there are currently vacancies on this Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Land Acquisition Advisory Committee has provided the Board of
County Commissioners with its recommendation for appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that PATRICIA SHERRY,
representing general civic and citizen interests, is hereby appointed to the Land Acquisition
Advisory Committee to serve a three-year term expiring on February 11, 2018, and that
TRACEY DEWRELL, representing agricultural and business interests, is hereby reappointed to
serve a three-year term expiring on February 11, 2018.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED upon majority vote on this 28th day of April, 2015.
