14 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROPOSED SPECIAL ACT
/.' REPEALING CHAPTER 59-1189, LAWS OF FLORIDA,
RELATING TO COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING
THE TRANSFER OF PROPERTY OWNED BY THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC INSTRUCTION OF COLLIER COUNTY TO THE BOARD
OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY AND FROM
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER
COUNTY TO THE BOARD OF PUBLIC INSTRUCTION OF
COLLIER COUNTY BY SALE, LEASE OR OTHERWISE.
WHEREAS, Chapter 59-1189, Laws of Florida, relating to
1 . Collier County, Florida, authorizing the transfer of property
, owned by the Board of Public Instruction of Collier County to the
L Board of County Commissioners of Collier County and from the Board

of County Commissioners of Collier County to the Board of Public
Instruction of Collier County by sale, lease or otherwise has been V.
superseded by general law; and

`'' WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it to be in
+ the best interest of Collier County to repeal in its

Chapter 59-1189, Laws of Florida.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY

COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
',' 1) The proposed Special Act which repeals Chapter 59-1189,
Laws of Florida, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" is hereby

2) The Staff is hereby directed to send the attached
proposed Special Act to the Legislative Delegation for I

Chapter 59-1189, Special Act, Laws of Florida, is
25 hereby repealed in its entirety.
