COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO AUTHORIZE
$35,000 FOR THE LOCAL SHARE OF a
AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
ADMINISTRATION GRANT TO INSTALL
WATER AND SANITARY SEWER LINES •
TO THE INDUSTRIAL PARK AT THE
• AIRPORT IN IMMOKALEE
0; '• WHEREAS, Collier County Board of County Commissioners did
.:# ( '. approve Resolution No 90-295 on June 6, 1990, directing the
. Collier County Department of Housing and Urban Improvement to
` ; prepare, or cause to be prepared, an Application for the Economic-i;
Development Administration of the U. S. Department of Commerce .
, for an EDA Public Works Grant in the amount of $584 300.00 and
WHEREAS, the Executive Summary for Resolution No 90-295
did state in the Fiscal Impact Section that the local share of
the grant would be $35,000.00, however, the resolution did not
actually commit that amount of funds for the grant; and

• WHEREAS, the Economic Development Administration is

�,�,,� • ;; reviewing the application and has questioned the availability of

' ' these funds; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Board of County
Commissioners to commit that funds in the amount of $35,000.00
are available from Contingency Funds if the County is awarded the
t' -: EDA Public Works Grant. .

i''. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
Fi ,;'' COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, THAT:
The Collier County Board of County Commissioners authorize
the transfer of $35,000.00 of funds from the Contingency Fund to
the Airport Development Fund, and that if Award of the EDA Public
Works Grant is received by the Collier County Board of County
Commissioners, the $35,000.00 will immediately be available as
