Resolution 2014-057 RESOLUTION No. 2014 57 RESOLUTION NO. 2014 - 5 ADOPTING THE COLLIER AREA TRANSIT TITLE VI PROGRAM WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County, Florida (the "Board") receives Federal financial assistance from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), and as a condition of receiving this assistance, the Board must comply with Title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), part 53. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA THAT: 1. That it is the policy of the Board to ensure that transit services are equitably distributed and provide equal access and mobility to any person, without regard to race, color or national origin. 2. That the policies and procedures set forth in the County's Title VI Program presented on the below-referenced is approved. 3. That the Public Transit Manager is authorized to sign any and all assurances, certifications and other documents that may be required in connection with the Program or subsequent Programs. 4. That the Public Transit Manager is authorized to make necessary modifications to the Title VI Program to ensure compliance with 49 C.F.R., part 53.
