Notice is hereby given that the Collier County Board of County Comminsioners
will hold an informational workshop on FRIDAY, MARCH 16, 2001, at 9:00 A.M. in
the Board Meeting Room, Third Floor, Harmon Turner Building (Administration) at the
Collier County Government Complex, 3301 East Tamiami Trail, Naples, Florid~ The
Board's informational topic(s) will include, but may not be limited to, an overview of the
following subjects:
* Overview of Collier County Growth Management Plan (Elements/Sub-elements)
* Overview of Florida Growth Management Act (Chapter 163, Part II)
Overview of Florida Adminislxative Code regulations implementing Chapter 163
* GMP Amendment Process
· Overview of Future Land Use Map
· Collier Concurrency Management System
* Final Order and on-going Rural Fringe/Rural Lands Committees activities
· Overview of alternative grown control measures - Rate of Growth Ordinances
The meeting is open to the public.
Any person who decides to appeal a decision of this Board will need a record of
the proceedings pertaining thereto, and therefore may ne~l to ensure that a verbatim
record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testhnony and ev/dence
upon which the appeal is to be based.
