CONSIDERATIONS: On an annual basis, Collier County Government considers funding capital projects in the City of Naples, based on projects .providing benefits to both county and city residents. For budget planning purposes, early indication as to what, if any, capital budget requests for funding in the FY 02 Collier County Government budget would be helpful. The following table identifies the projects funded during the last three fiscal years. OBJECTIVE: To provide an opportunity for the Transportation Staff to present the final Collier Area Transit Information in a single meeting format. CONSIDERATIONS: The attached vehicle design bus routes, schedules and stops have been developed, adjusted through meetings with City MPO Representatives, and finally adopted by the MPO on Friday, January 26, 2001. The end result provides a Transit System which is believed to be both functional and aesthetically fitting with the Collier County/Naples Area. FISCAL IMPACT: The fares proposed are included within the back-up matedal and all initial capital expenses are provided through Federal Transit Administration Grant Funds. GROW'FH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no Growth Management Impact associated with this item. RECOMMENDATION: Recommendation that the Collier County Transportation Division present the final vehicle design, routes, stops and schedules for the Collier Area Transit Program.
