1:00 p.m.
Notice is hereby given that the Collier County Board of County Commissioners will meet at the
Naples Landfill, 3901 Whitelake Blvd., Naples, Florida, to conduct a workshop to discuss solid
waste disposal at the above stated date and time. To accommodate the public, parking will be
available at the South County Water Treatment Plant, 3851 Utilities Drive, (off CR 951).
Shuttles will transport the public to the workshop site at the County Landfill. The shuttle service
will begin at 12:30 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, the meeting will be relocated to the
Golden Gate Community Center. Start time of the workshop will remain the same. This
workshop will take place in a tented area inside the landfill.
Copies of the agenda for said meeting will be made available to the press and may be obtained at
the Office of the County Manager, Solid Waste Department and the Department of Public
Information.
Any person who decides to appeal a decision of this Board will need a record of the proceedings
pertaining thereto, and therefore may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is
made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
