A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, REAPPOINTING PATRICIA
SPENCER AND MARGARET E. HARRIS TO THE GOLDEN GATE
BEAUTIFICATION ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 87-78 confirmed the creation of the Golden
Gate Beautification Advisory Committee which advises the Board of County Commissioners
(Board) on matters pertaining to the Golden Gate Beautification Municipal Service Taxing Unit
(MSTU); and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 87-78, as subsequently amended, provides that this Advisory
Committee shall consist of five members who represent the voting precincts within the MSTU;
and
WHEREAS, there are currently two vacancies on this Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Board previously provided public notice soliciting applications from
interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Advisory Committee has provided the Board with its recommendation
for appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that PATRICIA SPENCER,
representing Precinct 326, and MARGARET E. HARRIS representing Precinct 323, are hereby
reappointed to the Golden Gate Beautification Advisory Committee to serve four-year terms,
said terms to expire on October 6, 2017.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED after motion, second and majority vote on this the 8th
day of October, 2013.
