Operational Guidelines MARCO ISLAND THREE MEMBER TEAM
The Collier County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Department and the
Marco Island Fire Department share a common goal of serving the community. A
single Paramedic vehicle response to medical emergencies reduces the risk of
accidental injury or death to community members and provides a cost effective
response to emergency medical calls utilizing existing EMS and fire department
personnel.

seven days a week, with a three member team consisting of two EMS personnel
and one Marco Island Fire Department personnel.
