COLLIER COUNTY E.M.S. EMPLOYEES ADVISORY COUNCIL
DATE: Friday, February 19, 1982
TIME: 10:00 A.M.
PLACE: E.M.S. Headquarters
IN ATTENDANCE: Doug Greenfield

The following are the minutes of the Employee' s Advisory Council held on
Friday, February 19, 1982 at 10 am:
-- Meetings are open to all E.M.S. personnel and all employees are welcome to attend.
-- Minutes of all future meetings will be typed and distributed to all stations
within one week of the meeting.
-- It was agreed that we need to get as much information on our patients as possible
in order to help the Billing Department do their job.
-- Doug Greenfield advised that he will be scheduling a Company meeting within the
next two weeks.
-- Parking at the North station: Parking in front of the office will be permitted a;'
when traffic is heavy on U.S. 41 .
-- Advanced notice will be given to all employees of future scheduled meetings so
that employees will have ample opportunity to attend.
-- Truck #6 will be getting a new cab and chassis along with a general refurbishing
of the inside of the patient compartment.
-- New shock4have been put on Truck #11 along with locks for the side compartments.
-- Reference malpractice insurance: All employees are covered by Malpractice
insurance. Information on file at E.M.S. office.
-- Calendars have been ordered for offices and employees showing the three
different shifts.
-- We need to pick up all extra equipment belong to E.M.S. that is found lying
around the hospital . Notify your supervisor that you have picked items up.
Supervisor will then get the item from you and return it to the proper unit.

-- The North Station should be getting a face lift very soon including new wall to
wall carpet, new flooring in the kitchen and bathroom, new drapes, new paint job
on the outside, etc.
-- Other stations are being looked at including Marco Island and plans are being
made to redue the MVI Station in Immokalee.
-- We have ordered Six (L1 new wooden backboards.
-- A new Type III ambulance will be purchased soon and may be stationed at the
North Station. It will be like Truck #3 and #4.
-- Cooking equipment has been purchased. North Station has received theirs, all
other stations will be receiving theirs shortly.
Meeting was adjourned at approximately noon.
