1. SHIFT EXCHANGE STUDY PROJECT:
BILL HAS COMPLETED INFO GATHERING STATS. HOPE TO FIND A SOLUTION
TO BENEFIT EVERYONE. HE WOULD LIKE A COMMITTEE INCLUDING BILL,
A SUPERVISOR AND ONE PERSON FROM EACH SHIFT. PLEASE LET HIM
KNOW IF YOU ARE INTERESTED. ASAP.
IN THE MEANTIME:
PLEASE FOLLOW PROCEDURES FOR SHIFT SWAPS. YOU ARE NOT TO ASK THE
OFFICE FOR HELP. IF CHANGING STATIONS (INSTEAD OF STAYING AT ONE
STATION FOR BOTH DAYS WORKING) YOU MUST ARRANGE TO HAVE SOMEONE
COME IN EARLY OR STAY LATE AT THE OTHER STATION AT YOUR EXPENSE.
YOU OWE THE TIME BACK. (SOUNDS LIKE IT'S EASIER TO STAY IN ONE
PLACE) . THEN NOTIFY THE OFFICE WHO'S ON FIRST ETC.ETC.

2. SUB STATIONS:
MEDIC 1-WE NEED TO VACATE OUR PRESENT ROOMS ASAP. HOSPITAL WANTS
$70,000 OVER FIVE YRS. FOR NEW PLACE. AS OF NOW WE HAVE NO PLACE
TO GO. ANY SUGGESTIONS? THOSE, ALREADY MADE AND ALL BUT VETOED WERE:
BACK TO CITY. FIRM HOSP. APARTMENT,ROOM IN HOSP.
MEDIC 2-E. NAPLES FIRE NOW WANTS RENT, SO WE MAY NOT BE GOING THERE.
COUNTY WILL HAVE TO DECIDE. NOT IN OUR BUDGET THIS YEAR, TO PAY
RENT FOR THIS STATION.
MEDIC 33-NO CLOSER THAN WE WERE IN THE BEGINNING. POLITICS: :

3. ADVISORY COUNCIL FORMAT.
MEETINGS WILL STAY AS OUR OWN. SUPERVISORS WILL CONTINUE ATTENDING.
AGENDA WILL CONTINUE TO BE USED. THERE WILL BE NO MEETING IN FEB.
DUE TO MANY HEAVY AND CONFLECTING SCHEDULES.

THERE WILL BE A MEMO OUT HOWEVER, CONCERNING THOSE WHO WISH TO BE
ON THE NEXT COUNCIL. APPLICATIONS WILL BE TAKEN AND VOTING
COMPLETED, BEFORE, MARCH MEETING. NEW REGIME WILL TAKE OVER IN
APRIL. WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE AT LEAST THREE ALTERNATES THIS YEAR.

LEAVE REQUEST PROCEDURE-REMINDER: SHIFT SWAPS-3 DAYS PRIOR. PERSONAL
LEAVE-5 DAYS NOTICE IF POSSIBLE. ANNUAL LEAVE- TWO WEEKS PRIOR AS IN
SOP-SICK TIME AMY BE USED FOR FAMILY ILLNESS. NOT SURE IF YOU CAN
USE VACATION TIME FOR FAMILY ILLNESS. PROBABLY WOULD NOT HAVE ENOUGH
TIME TO PUT IN FOR IT, BUT, BILL, WILL CHECK IT OUT.
OF COURSE THERE ARE ALWAYS EXCEPTIONS TO THE ABOVE, FOR DIRE EMER-
GENCIES. OTHERWISE, NOT ADHERING TO THE S.O.P. WILL RESULT IN DENIAL
OF REQUEST.
TELEPHONES AT SUB STATIONS. LONG DISTANCE CALLS ARE NO-NO. TO VERIFY
IF LINE IS BUSY IS DITTQ NO. IT COSTS MONEY: NEXT REMINDER, MAY BE
IN THE FORM OF PAY PHONES AT THE STATIONS OR PHONES THAT CAN NOT BE
USED FOR CALLING OUT. PLEASE BE CAREFUL.
ACLS RECERT-PER DR. TOBER-MUST DO THIS ON AN ANNUAL BASIS. APRIL 18TH
AND 19TH THIS YEAR. MUST ATTEND ONE OF THESE DAYS. NO VACATION
REQUESTS DURING THIS TIME. IF YOU ALREADY HAVE PLANS, YOU MUST CLEAR
IT AWITH DR. TOBER AND YOU PROBABLY WILL HAVE TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AND
