General Durable Power of Attorney dated June 3, 2010, a copy of which is attached hereto, I am
responding on Sarah Jane's behalf to the Notices of Hearing (hereinafter referred to as the "Notices ") in
the above - referenced cases, copies of which are also attached hereto. Although the originals of the
Notices have not been received as yet via certified mail, I have been in contact with James Seabasty who
e- mailed to me copies of the Notices.
Due to Sarah Jane's diminishing health and her inability to live alone any longer, she was moved in
February 2012 to an assisted living facility in North Carolina just a few miles from my home_ Neither
Sarah Jane nor I will be present at the hearing on May 18, 2012; thus, I am providing this letter in lieu of
that appearance.
Through photographs of Sarah Jane's properties and communication with her neighbors and
Mr. Seabasty, as well as others, I am fully aware of the deteriorated condition of both properties. It would
be prohibitively expensive to bring either or both properties up to the current Collier County Code
requirements. I am also aware that there will be impending fines for these Code violations. Thus, it is my
opinion that the only way to abate the violations is to allow the County to demolish both buildings and
then lien the properties. As to the fines that may be imposed for the violations, we would appreciate
receiving and be most grateful for any leniency the Special Magistrate may deem just and proper.

Rusty Congrove is a 5 year old Pomeranian that has been a
patient of this hospital since November 2010.
Rusty presented on April 7, 2012 with severe bite wounds to his
right perianal region and right caudal thigh. The bite wounds were deep
and involved the underlying muscle layers. The wounds were cleaned
and Rusty was sent home with medications including antibiotics and
pain meds.
Upon recheck on April 30, 2012 Rusty's wounds were found to be
healing well. Upon further examination it was found that Rusty has a
3/3 medial patellar luaation (MPL) on his right rear leg and the owners
confirmed that Rusty had been reluctant to put any weight on this leg.
There is no previous history of a MPL on the right leg with Rusty.
In conclusion it is felt that the trauma that Rusty encountered on
April 7, 2012 contributed to his MPL and he will need surgery to
correct his injury to be able to properly walk again.
