LET IT BE REMEMBERED, that the Board of County Commissioners in
sd for the County of Collier, and also acting as the Board of Zoning
Appeals and as the governing board(s) of such special districts as
have been created according to law and having conducted business
herein, met on this date at 5:05 P.M. in SPECIAL SESSION in Building
"F" of the Government Complex, East Naples, Florida, with the

Legal notice having been published in the Naples Daily News on
April 16 and April 30, 1992, as evidenced by Affidavits of Publication
filed with the Clerk, public hearing was opened.
Dennis Cronin, Assistant County Attorney, noted this is the second
public hearing to consider amending the Parks and Recreational
Facilities Impact Fee Ordinance. He stated the amendment modifies the
definition section of the ordinance within the "Regional Parks" defi-
nition. He explained this amendment will allow the expenditure of
Regional Park Impact Fee Funds at the Vineyards Park where a regional
soccer facility will be constructed, or any other such facility that
meets that definition. He said language is also being added to the
use of monies section concerning the design and construction of road-
way improvements related to regional park facilities as well as reim-
bursement or refund of costs incurred by the County in preparing any
update %o the impact fee study.

Mr. Cronin indicated this is the second public hearing to consider
amending the Emergency Medical Services System Impact Fee Ordinance.
He noted language is being added pertaining to a refund of the impact

fee when a building permit ts not used. He said the additional
language ts consistent with other impact fee ordinances and was Inad-
vertently omitted from this ordinance. He referred to the bottom of
page 8 of the proposed ordinance, stating Section "h" has been
deleted in its entirety because affordable housing exemptions are not
applicable to this ordinance. He noted Appendix "B", the schedule of
fees, has been changed to round fees to the nearest dollar in the
interest of administrative convenience.
