AND APPROVAL BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY

TIVE DATE.

SECTION 1. Pursuant to Article V~II, Section 6 (d) and
Article VIII, Sect[on 1 (f) of the Constitution of the State of
Florida of ~968 and H. B. 235 of the 1969 Legislature, Section
9 of Chapter 61-2032, Speciat Laws of FtorLda, is amended to
read:
SECTION 9. Upon :eceipt o'f such estimate and certificate
of posting, the aatd board of county commissioners may amend,
modi£y, increase or reduce any or all items of expenditure in
the proposed estimate or budget, and, as amended, modified,
increased or reduced, shall approve said budget or estimate,

District Board specifying tn such notice the specific items
so amended, modified, increased or reduced. At the time of
making and ftxin8 the rate of annual taxation for county pur-
poses, the Board of County Commissioners shat1 fix and cause
to be levied on att property within said district, both real
and personat and subject to taxation, a mttlage sufficient to
meet the requirements of the budget or estimate, prov£ded,

however, the total millage shall not exceed one (1) mill
nor the amount realized therefrom shall not exceed twenty
thousand dollars ($20,000.00)~ whichever is the lower, in
any one fiscal year.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect upon
receipt by the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County
of official acknowledgment from the office of the Secretary of
State that it has been filed.
