M~~ A R~AS OF COLLIER COONTY. --
~ WHEREAS, a need exists for the r~gulat~on of times of
opening and closing establishments wherein alcoholio beverages
are sold within the unincorporated areas of Collier County;
I'~IEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has been
given authority under Florida Statute 562.14(1) to promulgate
such regulations.
NOt; TI[EREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COI&MISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA:
SECTION ONE:
A. That in all unincorporated areas of Collier County,
except County CommissiOn District 5, the legal hours of sale
of alcoholic beverages by persons, firms, or corporations
holding licenses under the State Beverage Department of'the
State of Florida, as alcoholic beverages are defined in
Florida Statutes Chapter 561, shall be from 7~00 A.M. until
2:00 A.M. following, seven (7) days per week. In County
Commission District 5 of this County, legal hours of sale
shall be from 8:00 A.M. until 2:00 A.M., Monday through
Saturday, and from 1:00 P.M. until the following 2:00 A.M.
on Sunday.
B. The sale of alcoholic beverages during hours other
than as indicated abovo is unlawful.
SECTION TWO:
That certain Resolution of the Board of County Comm~s-
sionors of Collior County, Florida dated March 17, 196S
and recorded in Commissioners' Minute Book 8, ~age 328-329,
hereby rescinded and repealed.
SECTION THREE ~
Penalty. Violation of this Ordinance is punish~e
as provided by law for the violations of county ordin~_es~
Each day an offense exists shall be considered a sepa_~e
offense. Prosecution as a misdeme~nor $hall not prec~
other remedies available in law aha equity.
SECTION FOUR:
This Ordinance shall become effective immediately'
upon receip~ of notice that it has been received and filed
with the Office of the Secretary of State.
