RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY
ATTORNEY TO INTERVENE IN THE MATTER
OF GARRETT F.X. BEYRENT AND TERYL
BEYRENT V. THE STATE OF FLORIDA
DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATION
AND CAN- AMERICAN SEAGATE CORPORATION,
CASE NO. 84-2264
WHEREAS public access to Clam Pass Park is essential to
Collier County' s tourist industry and to provide much needed
beach access to the citizens of Collier County and the State of
Florida; and
WHEREAS Garrett F.X. Beyrent and Teryl Beyrent have filed a
Petition for Formal Administrative Hearing to contest the
issuance of Construction Permits for the Dock-Boat-Dock access
facilities to the Clam Pass Park.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Collier County, Florida that the County Attorney
is authorized to intervene in the Formal Administrative
Proceedings as a Party Respondent. The County Attorney is
authorized to take any and all action necessary to protect the
interest of Collier County in these proceedings.
