I would hasten to add that because of the lunch with the BCC and the Cuban Issues Forum, the HAAB members were asked to attend 4 meetings in one month, and that may be the reason that a quorum was not achieved at the last meeting. As you know, members Anna Rodriguez and Yolanda Dustin's terms are also ending this month. Yolanda Dustin is applying for re-appointment to the Board and you had indicated that her application was received late. You asked me to inquire from Yolanda why that had occurred and her response was that she had been out of town during the period just prior to the application deadline. In order to restore a quorum to the Board, I would ask that the Board of County Commissioners consider the three applications which have been submitted without a recommendation of the HAAB. Please contact me if you have any further questions or comments. Respectfully submitted. c: Kenneth B. Cuyler, County Attorney HAAB Members RM/cs/5821
