AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 79-67,
WHICH AMENDED ORDINANCE NO. 78-8, CORRECTING
SECTION TWO, WATER USER RATES AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE. BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
SECTION ONE:
Ordinance No. 79-67~ Section Two, be corrected tO read
as follows:
Section Two:
Section Five of Collier County Ordinance No. 78-8 is amended
to read as follows:
Section Five - Rates
A) The rates for service shall be as set forth herein. Said
rates are hereby found to be fair and equitable and may be changed
by ordinance amending the Rate Schedule.
B) Rates charged by the County Utility Division for water
furnished to customers within the County's Service Area shall be
as follows:
(1) Single-Family Residence:
First 3,000 gallons: $~.$0 per month.
For all water used in excess of that allowed within the
minimum charge~ the rate shall be $0.75 per 1,000 gallons

or any part thereof.
Multi-Family Residence: ~
(a) Duplex Residences - First 6,000 gallo~s or e~4y rt
zthereof $9.00 per month. For all water xqmexce%s hat
~:allowed within the minimum charge, the ra{~ sha~ ~

~' Multi-Family Rental Apartments: First 3,000 gallons

dwelling unit. For all water used in excess of that allowed
within the minimum charge, the rate s~all be $0.75 per
1,000 gallons or any part thereof.
(c) Condominiums: First 3,000 gallons or any part
thereof $3.g0 per month per spartment or dwelling unit.
For all water in e~eess of that allowed w~thtn the
minimum oha~ge, the rate shall be $0.?$ 9s~ 1,000 gallons

(3) Business and Institutions=
First 3,000 gallons o~ any pax~ thereof $q.$0 9e~ month.

SECTION TWO: Emergency Declaration
Emergency and Effeutive Date. Be it declared that an
emergency exists and the immediate enactment of this Ordinance
is necessary, therefore, notice requirements a~e waived and this
Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its pla2ement in the
United States mail to the Secretary of State.
This Ordinance shall take effect as pmovlded by law.
