The first variance is from Land Development Code (LDC) Subsection 5.06.04 C.I6.b.i. which allows a maximum sign area of 12 square feet for an off-premise directional sign to allow a 32::i: square foot off-premise sign. The second variance is from LDC Subsection 5.06.04 C.16.b.v. which requires a sign to be located within 1,000 lineal feet of the intersection of the road serving the use to allow greater distances of up to 6,000 lineal feet for up to lOuses.
