BACKGROUND INFORMATION ·
. Moorings Park is 82.9z~$ acres In area and Is an irregularly shaped
parcel lying within Section 15, Tzlgs, R25E.'. The property Is
bounded on the west by Goodlette Road and has approximately
one mile of frontage on the Country C. lub of' Naples goif course.
Moorings Park is to be a retirement community which will Incor-
porate a licensed nursing home facility together with various
' recreational, dining, and medfcal support facili.tles, geared to the
needs of the retired residents of the p'roJect.

The Moorings Park project Will not be subdivided. The entire
project, land, bulldlngs, and other Improvements, will be owned'
and managed by The Moorings, inc., a Florida non-pmflt corp-
oration qualified as such by the Internal Revenue Service under
Rule 501 (c) [3).
Drives and offstreat parking facilities to serve the various' uses
within Moorings Park are to be located as shown on the master plan.
Minimum offstreat parklng spaces planned include=
1 space for each dwelling unit in the 8-story apartment
structures, together with 1{) visitor parking spaces
per building and 2 service vehicle spaces per building.

Because of' the relatively high average age of Moorings Park residents,
it is anticipated that e substantial number of residents will not own

it is planned to construct offstreet parkrng spaces, both covered and
uncovered, In pace with need. In the event that there is a clear
ind.ication that some of the planned spaces are not needed, they will
not be constructed( but the area planned for them will continue to

unless future circumstances dictates the need for their Improvement
