AN ORDINANCE AMENDING, AND EXPANDIN6, THE BOUNDARY
OF THE COLLIER MOSQUITO CONTROL DISTRICT~ PROVIDING
FOR TAXATION OF TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN SUC~ ADDITIONAL
AREA~ PROVIDING FOR DECLARATION OF EMERGENCY AND
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 388.211, Florida
Statutes' (1981), the Collier Mosquito Control District,
for and on behalf of the District or the qualified electors
within or without the District, has requested that~-t~e~.
Board of County Commissioners of Collier County, Florida,
approve a change in the boundary of said District; and.
WHEREAS, said request is evidenced by Resolu. ti?.~n
of the Collier Mosquito Control District Board of .... _.~
Commissioners;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that~
SECTION ONE:
Amendment to Collier Mos~uito Control District
The boundary of the Collier Mosquito Control District,
shall be amended, and expanded, to include the following area~
Section 18, Township 52 South, Range 27 Eas~'
All taxable property within said additional area shall
be taxed in accordance with, and for the purposes authorized
by, Chapter 388, Florida Statutes (1981}, at the millage
rate established for the District by the Collier Mosquito
Control District Board of Commissioners. m
SECTION TWO~ ~
Declaration of Emergency and Effective Date ~
This Board does hereby declare that an emergency~
exists and that immediate enactment of this Ordinance i~
necessary, and by no less than four-fifths (4/5th) vote of
the membership of the Board does waive notice of intent to

consider this Ordinance.
A Certified copy of this Ordinance, as enacted, shall
be filed by the Clerk of tho Board with the Department of
State of tho State of Florida, as soon after enactment as is
practicable by depositing the same with the postal
authorities of the government of the United States for
special delivery by certified mail, postage prepaid, to the
Florida Department of State.
This Ordinance shall become effective upon becoming
law.
