AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINA~CE 82-2, THE
COMPREHENSIVE ZONING REGULATIONS FOR THE
UNINCORPORATED AREA OF COLLIER COUNTY,
FLORIDA BY ADDING A NEW SECTION 9.10-
SPECIAL REGULATIONS FOR PLACEMENT OF
MOBILE HOMES IN A-1 AND A-2 DISTRICTS:
AND BY PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WItEREAS, the Community Development Division has petitioned
the Board of County Commissioners to amend the Zoning Ordinance
of Collier County, Florida;
NOW, TIIEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Collier County, Florida:
Section One:
The Zoning Ordinance of Collier County, Florida is ~ereby

Ho:nes In A-I and A-2 Distr~cts: ~ mo
a. Intent and Purpose:
This subsection is intended to apply to those
agricultural areas where a mixture of housing
types are found to be appropriate within the
district. It is intended that Mobile homes
allotted under this subsection shall be erected
only in the "A-i" and "A-2" Agricultural
Districts and only when the requirements and
procedures of this Subsection are met.
b. Desi~nation of Mobile Home Overlay District:
1)
An overlay zoning classificaticn to bo known
as tho "MH" Mobile Home Overlay District,
and to be designated on the official Zoning
Atlas by the symbol "MH" together with the
symbol of the basic zoning district which it
overlays, is hereby established.
2)
The placement or removal of this overlay
district shall be governed by the procedure
for amending the zoning ordinance and zoning
atlas as prescribed in Section 14 of this
Ordinance.
Minimum Zoned Area Required For "MH" Overlay
Dist~ic't:
The minimum area that may be petitioned for
rezoning to tho "MH" overlay district shall
be forty (40) acres. However, acreage and
setback requirements must comply with tho base
zoning district for each individual lot of
record within the established overlay district.

Procedure for Establishin~ Districts
Upon petition to the Board ~f County Commis-
sioners, signed by a minimum of fifty (50%)
percent plus one (1) of the property owners
· in the proposed overlay district, the Board
of County Commissioners may place the "MH"
Overlay District on the described petitioned
area.
Section Two:
This Ordinance shall become effective, upon notification
that it has been recorded by the office of the Secretary of
State.
