RELATING TO PETITION CCCL-B7-SC,
CLYDE C. QUINBY, REPRESENTED BY
WILSON, MILLER, BARTON, SOLL, AND
PEEK, INC., REQUESTING A 70-FOOT
VARIANCE FROM THE COASTAL
CONSTRUCTION CONTROL LINE TO ALLOW
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF TWO
CONDOMINIUM TOWERS FOR PROPERTY
LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF GULF
SHORE OR I VE.
WHEREAS, Clyde C. Quinby has requested a variance ~rom the
Coastal
Construction Control Line CCCCL),
as required by
Ordinance 75-19, to allow ~or the construction o~ two condominium
towers connected by a walkway on a Vanderbilt Beach lotJ and
WHEREAS, the 0.73 acre subject property Is located on the
west side of Gulf Share Drive, three lots north o~ the Gul~'Shore
Drive/Vanderbilt Beach Road intersection; and

WHEREAS, the petitioner Is proposing to construct two
condominium towers; the tower closest to the Gul~ o~ Mexico, 'the
connecting walkway, and a portion of the second tower will extend
approximately 70 ~e.t seaward o~ the CCCLJ and
NOW THEREFORE, BE I T RESOLVED, BY THE BOARD
OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that variance CCCL-S7-
