RESOLUTION NO. 2010 - 199
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, REAPPOINTING ELIZABETH M.
PERDICHIZZI AND CRAIG R. WOODWARD TO THE
HISTORIC/ARCHAEOLOGICAL PRESERVATION BOARD.
WHEREAS, on May 26, 2009, the Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance
No. 2009-33, which relocated and readopted the Historic/Archaeological Preservation Board
Ordinance in its entirety as a stand-alone ordinance in the Collier County Code of Laws and
Ordinances; and
WHEREAS, the Historic/Archaeological Preservation Board was established to
designate, regulate, and administer historical and archaeological resources in the County under
the direct jurisdiction and control of the Board of County Commissioners; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 2009-33, the Historic/Archaeological
Preservation Board shall consist of seven members; five with expertise in the categories of
History, Archeology; Real Estate/Land Development/Finance, Architecture/Engineering/
Building Construction/Landscaping Architecture (alk/a Historic Preservation/Landscape), and
Law or Urban Planning Land and two members in the category of Citizens at Large; and
WHEREAS, on October I, 2010, there will be two vacancies on this Advisory Board;
and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Historical! Archaeological Preservation Board has provided the Board of
County Commissioners with its recommendations for appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER
RESOLVED BY THE
COUNTY, FLORIDA,
BOARD OF COUNTY
that ELIZABETH M.
PERDICHIZZI, a Citizen at Large, and CRAIG R. WOODWARD, with expertise in Law, are
hereby reappointed to thc Historic/ Archaeological Preservation Board for three-year terms, said
tcrms to expire on October I, 2013.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED after motion, second and majority vote on this the 28th
day of September, 20 I O.
