Section One: queens Park at LaSo Verde Phases 1 & 2 Street Lighten~
Municipal Service Taxin~ Unit Created~ Boundaries.
Pursuant to Chapter 125 of the Florida Statutes, the Queens Park at Lags
Verde Phases 1 & 2 Street Lighting Municipal Service Taxing Unit is hereby
created for the purpose of providing street lighting to the residents of the
taxing unit, the boundaries of which are hereinafter described: ~ m

Plat Book 14, Pages 81-8~ and 94-95, inclusive, of the publ$~;
records of Collier Count7, Florida; all being a part of section.
18, To.ship 50 South, Range 26 East, Collier County, Florida',
containing 55.99 acres more or less;
Section Two: Governin~ Bod7.
The goverming body of the Unit shall be ex-officio the Board of County
Co~iasioners of Collier County, Florida.
Section Three: Purpose} Powers.
The Unit is formed for the purpose of providing street lighting in the
above-described subdivision and to that end shall possess all the powers to do
all things reasonably necessary to provide such services, including ow~ership
or rental of property, poles, wires, conduits, lights, meters, and the power to
maintain the same and to enter into contracts for providing the same and the
electric current to operate any lighting system therein installed.
Section Four: Annual Estimates of Expenses; Taxation Rate.
For the purpose of carrying into effect this Ordinance, the Board of
County Commissioners shall annually, at the time required by general budgetary
law, make an itemized estimate of the amount of money required to carry out the
business of the Unit for the next fiscal year, which shall be from October I to
and including September 30 following. The estimate shall have for what purpose
the ~nias ara required and the amount necessary to be raised by taxation

within the Unit. At the time and place for fixing tbs annual rate o! taxation
for county purposes, the Board shall fix and cause to he lsvied on all property

exceed the millage authorized by lay fo~ ~nicipal semite taxing or benefit
units.
