BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLL. tEK COUNTY,
FLORIDA:
Section One: VineTards Unit 1 (includin~ Tracts "P" and "K") Street Li~htin~
Municipal Service Taxin~ Unit Created~ Boundaries.
Pursuant to Chapter 125 of the Florida Statutes, the Vineyards Unit 1
(including Tracts "F" and "K") Street Lighting Municipal Service Taxing Unit in
hereby created for the purpose of providing stree~ lighting to the residents of
the taxing unit, the boundaries of which are hereinafter described:
All of Vineyards Unit i (including Tracts "F" and "K")
recorded in Plat Book l&, Pages 67-74, 86-88, and 96-97'[
inclusive, of the public records of Collier County, Florida;
being a part of Sections 5 & 6 and 5 & 8. Township 49 South;, .
Range 26 East, Collier County, Florida, containing 559.04 acre~'j~';
more or less;
Section Two: Governin~ Bod~.
The governing body of the Unit shall be ex-officio the Board of County
C~tseionere of Collier County, Florida.
Section Three: Purpose; Powers.
The Unit is formed for the purpose of providing street lighting in the
above-described subdivision and to that end shall possess all the powers to do
all things reasonably necessary to provide nucb services, including ownership
or rental of property, poles, wires, conduits, lights, meters, and the power to
maintain the same and to enter into contracts for providing the same and the
electric current to operate any lighting system therein installed.
Section Four: Annual Estimates of Expenses; Taxation Rate.
For the purpose of carrying into effect this Ordinance, the Board of
County Commissioners shall annually, at the time required by general budgetary
law, make an itemized estimate of the amount of money required to carry out the
business of the Unit for the next fiscal year, which shall be from October 1 to
and including September 30 following. The estimate shall have for whaC purpose
~hs moniss ars required amd the amount nscessary to be raised by taxation
withy the Unit, At the tls and place for f~xing the annual rats of taxation
for county purposes, the Board shall f~x and cause to be levied on all property
~rlthin the Unit subJsct to taxation a millage sufficient to meet the
requirements of the estimate; provided, hoverer, the total millage shall not
exceed the millage authorized by law for municipal service tax.ipg or benefit

SectiOn Five: Tax Assessment ~d Collection, ..
Taxes herein provided for shall be assessed and collected in the same
~anner and form as provided for the assessment and collection of general county
taxes and subject to the s~e fees for assessfng and collecting as general
county taxes,
Section SLx: Construction.
Tht~ Ordinancs shall be liberally construed to effectuate its public
purpose.
Section Seven: Effective Date.
This Ordinance shall become effective upon receipt of no=ice from the
