RESOLV'l'IOIf APPROVING THE UPDATED 1991-92 PAY
PLAN AND THE NEW CLASS SPECIFICATIONS.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 83-7 states that the
'Board of County c~issioners shall adopt rules which provide

responsibility of each position, with adequate provision for

WHEREAS, Collier County Resolution No. 91-697 which adopted
the current Collier County Personnel Rules and Regulations,
provide. in Section 0210(C) (1) that amendments to the Pay Plan
shall be considered by the Human Resources Director in conjunction
with studies indicating revisions to the Classification and Pay
Plan, adjustments in internal equity or external competitiveness
or vben other pertinent economic considerations warrant such
action.
said section further provides that amendments must be
recoaaended to the Board of County Commissioners by reSOlution;
and
w8EREAs, the Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution
No. 90-518 approving the 1990-91 County Pay Plan and Class
Specification. for the 1990-91 Budget; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution
No. 91-700 approving the 1991-92 County Pay Plan and Class
Specification. for the 1991-92 Budget; and
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director and County Manager
reco.aend the adoption by resolution of the 1991-92 updated pay
plan with an eftective date ot April 1, 1992.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMKISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, THAT:
1) The 1991-92 updated Pay Plan attached hereto as Exhibit
-A- is hereby adopted and shall become effective on April 1, 1992.
2) The Classitication specifications for the consolidated
and new pay titles attached hereto as Exhibit "B" are hereby
approved and adopted as part ot the Collier County Personnel Rules
and Regulations.
