RESOLUTION NO. 94-676
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING WILLIAM R. SNAPP,
III, AND SHELDON REED TO THE EMERGENCY
MEDICAL SERVICES ADVISORY COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, Collier county Ordinance No. 80-80 created the
Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council and provides that the
Advisory Council shall be composed of 11 regular members, three
(3) ex-officio members and two (2) staff members; and
WHEREAS, the Board adopted Resolution No. 90-527 on October
30, 1990 which revised and updated the Emergency Medical Services
Advisory Council's by-laws by providing that the Advisory Council
include two members at large; and
WHEREAS, there are currently vacancies on this board for the
Naples community Hospital, Inc. and the City of Naples; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners received letters
from the organizations recommending the appointment of members.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1. William R. Snapp, III is hereby appointed to the
Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council to fill the vacancy of
the Naples community Hospital, Inc. member, said term shall expire
on August 31, 1996.
2. Sheldon Reed is hereby appointed to fill the vacancy of
the City of Naples member, said term shall expire on August 31,
1996.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority
vote.
