A RESOLUTION OF THE 130ARD OF COUNTY COMMlf;SIOllr.Rf;
PROVIDING FOR ASSESSMENT OF LIEN, FOR TIII~ COf,T 0 r
THE ABATEMENT OF PUBLIC NUISANCE, TN M'CORnMICr.
WITH ORDINANCE ~1-47.
WHEREAS as provided in Ordinanc~ ~1-47, thp. direct costs of
abatement Of' certain nuisances, including pre~crib0(1 ndministrative
cost incurred by the County, shall be a~se~sed nqninr.t ~;uch property;
and
WHEREAS, the cost thereof to the County as to each parcel shall be
calculated and reported to the Board of County CommissionerE, together
with a description of said parcel; and
WHEREAS, such assessment shall be a leqal, v~lid nnd binding
obligation upon the property aqa i nst wh ich mi'\<lc> lint II pa id; and
WHEREAS, the assessment shall become due ~nd payable thirty (30)
days after the mailing of Notice of Assessment nftor which interest
shall accrue at a rate of twelve perccmt (1?. 01) p0r ,lnnum on "ny
unpaid portion thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the property described
as follows, and having been abated of a Pllblic nuisance after due and
proper notice thereof to the owner of said property, is hereby assessed
the following costs of such abatement, to wit:

The Clerk of the Board shall mail a notice of assessment of lien
to the owner or owners of the above described property, and if such
owner fails to pay such assessment within thirty (30) days hereof, a
certified copy of this Resolution shall be filed in the Office of the
Clerk of Courts, in and for Collier County, Florida, to constitute a
lien against such property according to law, unless such direction is
stayed by this Board upon appeal of the assessment of the owner.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second "nd majority vote.

Lot 2 Block 250 unit 7 Part - GOLDEN GATE according to
plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 5 Page 143 of the
Public Records of Collier County, Florida.
You, as the owner of the property above described, as
recorded in the records maintained by the office of the
Property Appraiser, are hereby advised th~t the Compliance
Services Manager, did on 7/16/94, order the abatement of a
certain nuisance existing on the above property prohibited by
Ordinance 91-47, serving notice thereof upon you, such
nuisance being:
Prohibited accumulation of non-protected mowable
veqetation in excess of lS" in height in a SUbdivision
other than Golden Gate Estates.
You failed to abate such nuisance; whereupon, it was abated
by the expenditure of public funds at a direct cost of
$45.00 and administrative cost of $200.00 for a total of
$245.00. Such costs, by Resolution of the Board of County
Commissioners of Collier County, Florida, have been assessed
against the above property on

become a lien on the property thirty (30) days after such

You may request a hearing before the Board of County
Commissioners to show cause, if any, why the E,xpenses <md
