RESOLUTION NO. 92- 48
A RESOLUTION SPLITTING THE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT
FOR A PARCEL OF LAND KNOWN AS GRAND BAY
LOCATED WITHIN THE PELICAN BAY MUNICIPAL SERVICE
TAXING AND BENEFIT UNIT SPECIAL ASSESSMENT DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners on October 29,
1991 adopted Resolution No. 91-756 levying a special assessment
against the benefited properties within the Pelican Bay Municipal
Service Taxing and Benefit unit for funding the debt service on
the outstanding bonds for Fiscal Year 1991-1992 and for the
operation, repair and maintenance of the water management system
for Fiscal Year 1991-1992; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 91-756 is recorded in Official Record
Book 1660, Page 1160 of the Official Records of Collier County,
Florida, as a lien on all properties within the Pelican Bay
Municipal Service Taxing and Benefit Unit; and
WHEREAS, the total special assessment for a parcel of land
known as Grand Bay at Pelican Bay is $7,717.12 which is $233.85
for each of the 33 units to be constructed; and
WHEREAS, a Declaration of Condominium for Grand Bay was tiled
on October 18, 1991 and recorded in Official Record Book 1656,
Page 1245 of the Official Records of Collier County, Florida,
which provides for thirty-three (33) units to be constructed; and
WHEREAS, a written request has been made to th~ County by the
Developer to have the special assessment identified as Account No.
231400 split into thirty-three (33) accounts which will represent
an account per dwelling unit.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
, 1) Account No. 231400 in the name of PHD Holdings, Inc., 424
Hendricks Isle, Unit 6, Ft. LaUderdale, Florida 33301, shall be
split into thirty-three (33) separate accounts. Each account
shall have a principal amount of $233.85.
2) The accounts for Units 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 1~, 12, 14,
15, 16, 17, 18i, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, '30,

Holdings,
31, 32 and 33 at Grand Bay shall be in the name of PHD
Inc., 424 Hendricks Isle, Unit 6, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida 33301.
Each account for each of the units will have a principal balance
of $233.85 plus eight percent (8%) interest per annum on the
unpaid balance.
3) An account shall be established for Unit No. 6 at Grand
Bay in the name of Benjamin F. Jackson, Trustee, 4236 Crayton
Road, Naples, Florida, 33940 in the principal amount of $233.85
with a payment in the total amount of $233.85 paid on November 20,
1991.
4) An account shall be established for Unit No. 7 at Grand
Bay in the name of Beverly Hoglund, 7968 Grand Bay Dri~e, Naples,
Florida 33963 in the principal amount of $233.85 with a payment in
the total amount of $233.85 paid on November 20, 1991.
5) An account shall be established for Unit No. 10 at Grand
Bay in the name of Sophia Gaudelius, 7967 Grand Bay Drive, Naples,
Florida 33969 in the principal amount of $233.85 with a payment in
the total amount of $233.85 paid on November 20, 1991.
6) An account shall be established for Unit No. 13 at Grand
Bay in the name' of John L. Creigh and Rosemary F. Creigh, 7919
Grand Bay Drive, Naples, Florida 33963 in the principal amount of
$233.85 with a payment in the total amount of $233.85 paid on
November 20, 1991.
7) The special assessment was levied in accordance with
Collier County Ordinance No. 90-111, and constitutes a lien upon
these properties which are more particularly described in the
Declaration of 'Condominium recorded in OR Book 1656, Page 1245 of
the Official Records of Collier County, Florida. The special
assessment is of the same nature and to the same extent as the
liens thereon for County ad valorem taxes and shall be collected
in accordance with the Florida St~tutes.
8) This Resolution shall be recorded in the Official Records
'of Collier County, Florida.
