A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD 0;' COUII'I'" COMMISSIONERS
PROVIDING FOR ASSESSMENT OF LI Etl, FOR THE COST OF
THE ABATEMENT OF PUBLIC tlU I :;ANCI:, 1 N ACCORDANCE
WITH ORDINANCE 'J I -.i /.
WHEREAS, as provided in Ordinance 'J 1-'1'1, the direct costs of
abatement of certain nuisances, including prescribed administrative
cost incurred by the County, shall be assessed against such property;
and
WHEREAS, the cost thereof to the County as to each parcel shall be
calculated and reported to the Board of County Commissioners, together
with a oescription of said parcel; and
WHEREAS, such assessment shall be a legal, valid and binding
obligation upon the property against which made until paid; and
WHEREAS, the assessment shall become due and payable thirty (30)
days after the mailing.of Notice of Assessment after which interest
shall accrue at a rate of twelve percent (]?.o~) per annum on any
unpaid portion thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
CO~IISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the property described
as follows, and having been abated of a public nuisance after due and
proper notice thereof to the owner of said property, is hereby assessed
the following costs of such abatement, to wit:

to the owner or owners of the above described property, and if such
owner fails to pay such assessment within thirty (30) days hereof, a
certified copy 2tthis Resolution shall be filed in the Office of the
Clerk of Courts,~ln~nd for Collier County, Florida, to constitute ~.'
lien against such property according to law, unless such direction is
stayed..bythis Board upon appeal of .theassessment'ofth~ 'owner. .
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.

to plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 5 Page 119 of the
Public Records of Collier County, Florida.
You, as the owner of the property ~bove described, as
recorded in the records ~aintained by the office of the
Property Appraiser, are hereby advised that the Compliance
Services Manager, did on 1/31/94, order the abatement of a
certain nuisance existing on the above property prohibited by
Ordinance 91-47, serving notice thereof upon you, such
nuisance being:
Prohibited accumulation of non-protected mowable
vegetation in excess of 18" in height in a SUbdivision
other than Golden Gate Estates. Prohibited dumping,
accumulation, storage or burial of litter, waste or
abanc:!onec:! property.
You failed to abate Such nuisance; Whereupon, it was abated
by the expenditure of public funds at a direct cost of
$200.00 and administrative cost of $200.00 for a total of
$400.00. Such costs, by Resolution of the Board of County

Commissioners to show cause, if ~ny, why the expenses ~nd

unwarranted or excessive or why such expenses should not
constitute a lien against the property. Such request for
hearing must be made to the Clerk of the Board of County
CommiSSioners, Government Center, lIClple:;, Florida 33962 in
writing within thirty (30) days from the date of this
assessment to be valid.
