Resolution 1994-490 RESOLUTION NO. 9 <1 - 490 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS PROVIDING FOR ASSESSMENT OF LIEN, FOR THE COST OF THE ABATEMENT OF PUBLIC NUISANCE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH ORDINANCE 91-47. WHEREAS, as provided in Ordinance 91-47, the direct costs of abatement of. certain nuisances, inc1udin0 prescribed ~dministrative cost incurred by the County, shall be rtssessed against such property; and WHEREA!., the cost thereof to the County as to each parcel shall be calculated nnd reported to the Board of County Commissioners, together with a descriptioncf saJd parcel; and ;' '.... " ~ WHEREAS, such assessment shall be a legal, valid and binding obligation upon the property against which made until paid; and WHEREAS, the assessment shall become due and payable thirty (30) days after the mailing of Notice of Assessment after which interest shall accrue at a rate of twelve percent (12.0%) per annum on any unpaid portion thereof. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONEHS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the property described as follows, and having been abated of a public nuisance after due and proper notice thereof to the owner of said property, is hereby assessed the following costs of such abatement, to wit: HNmt LEGAL DESCRIPTION: COST: John Roy Young Lot 28, Block "B" GOODLAND ISLES, $245.00 according to the Plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 6, Page 7, of the PUblic Records of Collier County, Florida. REFERENCE: 40106-022 '46372360005 The Clerk of the Board shall mail a notice of assessment of 11en to the owner or owners of the above described property, and if such owner fails to pay such assessment within thirty (30) days hereof, a certified copy of this Resolution shall be filed in the Office of the Clerk of Courts, in and for Collier County, Florida, to constitute a lien against such property according to law, unless such djrection is stayed by this Board upOn appeal of the-assessment of the owner.
