VEHICLE CAMPGROUND PARK DISTRICT TO ADD NEW
SUBSECTION 7.19d. TO REGULATE SIGNAGE IN SAID
DISTRICT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE COLLIER COUNTY SIGN
ORDINANCE NO 89-60; DELETING SIGN DEFINITIONS FROM
SECTION 20, DEFINITIONS; BY PROVIDING FOR CONFLICT
AND SEVERABILITY; AND BY PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, Chapter 125, Florida Statutes, establishes the
right and power of counties to provide for the health,
welfare and safety of existing and future residents by
enacting and eniorcing zoning and business regulations
necessary for the protection of and public; and
WlqEREAS, the Section 8.31 of Ordinance Number 82-2, the
Comprlhansiv$ Zoning Rogulatlonm for Collier County, was
repealed in its entirety by Ordinance Number 89-60, the
Collier County Sign Ordinance, on August 22, 1989; and
WHEREAS, the development standards of the herein
enumerated sections of Ordinance Number 82-2, the Collier
County zoning Ordinance, contain references to repealed
Section 8.31 thereof and definitions pertinent to sign
ordinances; and
WHEREAS, the dsfinitions pertaining to sign ordinances
now appear in said Ordinance Number 89-60, the newly adopted

Collier County Sign Ordinance and are therefore no longer
required to be set forth in the Collier County Zoning
Ordinance (Number 82-2); and
WHEREAS, the development standards of the herein
enumerated sections of Ordinance Number 82-2, the Collier
County Zoning Ordinance, must be amended to refer to the
Collier County Sign Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the Community Development Services Division,
hereby petitions the Collier County Board of County
Commissioners to amend Ordinance Number 82-2, the Collier
County Zoning Ordinanceas set forth below;

restrictive shall apply. If any phrase or portion of the
Ordinance is held invalid or unconstitutional by any court of
competent Jurisdiction, such portion shall be deemed a
separate, distinct and independent provision and such holding
shall not affect the validity of the remaining portion.
· · EFFECTIVE DATE
This Ordinance shall become effective upon receipt of
notice from the Secretary of State that this Ordinance has
been filed with the Secretary of State.
