~rHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has directed
the Community Development Services Division to place a "MI{O"
Mobile Home Overlay on the real properties herein identified
on Exhibit "A"; and
WHEREAS, the subJect~ properties are designated
Agriculture/Residential on the Future Land Use Element (FLUE)
of the Growth Management Plan which encourages and protects
.... agricultural activities ,while providing for low density
residential uses;
WHEREAS, Policy 5.9 of the Future Land Use Element
(FLUE) of the Growth Management Plan makes provision for
properties which do not conform to the density requirements
of the FLUE to be found consistent with the FLUE when they
are improved; and
WHEREAS, the subject properties are improved with mobile
home dwellings, therefore, they meet this criteria and are
consistent with the FLUE:; and
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Board of County
Commissioners to allow the continued use of the existing
mobile home units consistent with the development standards
of the Collier County La,nd Development Code; and
WHEREAS, the Collier County Planning Commission, being
the duly appointed and constituted planning board for the
area hereby affected, has held a public hearing on July 1,
1993 to review and consider the advisability of placing a
Mobile Home Overlay on the herein described properties and
has found the request consistent with the FLUE of the Growth
Management Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Collier County, Florida, that:
The Zoning Classification of the herein described real
properties is changed from "A" AgricultUre to "A-M~O"
Agriculture with the Mo~.ile Home Overlay classification for
individual parcels as herein identified on Exhibit "A", and
the Official Zoning Map~ as described in Ordinance 92-102, as
amended, are hereby amended accordingly:

This Ordinance shall become effective upon receipt of
notice from the Secreta].~Z of State that this Ordinance has
been filed with the Secretary of State.
