Estates Citizens ~viso~ C~ittee, and
WHEREAS, ~hs Board is desirous of changing the name oZ the committee and
the method of selecting new committee members.
NOW THEKEFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, thatt
SECTION 1. Amendment to Section One of Collier County Ordinance No.
87-48, as amended.
SECTION ONE of Ordinance No. 87-48 is hereby amended to read as
follows:
SECTION ONE. Creation of the
~ Golden Gate Estates Land Trust Committee
This Ordinance is enacted pursuant to Ordinance No. 86-41 to
establish and create the 6oidelt
eomzrb, G~lden Gate Estates Land Trust Committee, hereinafter
referred to as eCommitteee.
SECTION 2. Amendment to Section Two of Collier County Ordinance No.
87-48, as amended.
SECTION TWO of Ordinance No. 87-48 is hereby amended to read as
follower
SECTION TWO. Appointment and Composition
A. The Committee shall consist of five (5) members which
representation shall consist of no more than one (1) officer or
director from any one (1) organization/association.
B. Members of the Committee shall be appointed by and serve at
the pleasure of the Board of County Commissioners. Said members

~ shall be permanent residents and electors of the Golden Gate Estates
area. There shall be no more than three (3) members on the

SECTION 2. Conflic~ and Severability
In the event this .Ordinance conflicts with any other ordinance of
Collier County or other applicable law, the more restrictive shall
apply. If any phrase or portion of this Ordinance is held invalid or
unconstitutional by any court of competent ~urisdiction, such l~rtion
shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision and such
holding shall not affect the validit~ of the remaining portion.
SECTION 3. Effective Date
This Ordinance shall become effective upon receipt of notice from
the Secretary of State that this Ordinance has been filed with the
Secretary of State.
