RESOLUTION NO. 2010 -19
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, REAPPOINTING ROBERT DORTA AND
MICHAEL J. DELATE TO THE LAND ACQUISITION ADVISORY
COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, on December 3, 2002, the Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance No.
2002-63, which established the Land Acquisition Advisory Committee to assist the Board in
establishing an "Active Properties Acquisition List" with qualified purchase recommendations
consistent with the goals of Conservation Collier; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2002-63, as amended, provides that this Advisory Committee shall
consist of nine members representing the broad and balanced interests of Collier County Citizens as
set forth in the Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, on February 11,2010, this Advisory Committee will have three vacancies; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice soliciting
applications trom interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Land Acquisition Advisory Committee has provided the Board of County
Commissioners with its recommendations for appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER
IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the appointments to the Land
Acquisition Advisory Committee are as follows:
I. ROBERT DORTA, representing the category of "Agricultural and Business Interests in Collier
County," is hereby reappointed for a three-year term, said term to expire on February 11,2013.
2. MICHAEL J. DELATE, representing the category of "Environmental and Conservation
Interests in Collier County," is hereby reappointed for a three-year term, said term to expire on
February 11,2013.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED after motion, second and majority vote on this the 26th day of
January, 2010.
