W~EREAS, on July 27, 1993, the Board of County Commissioners
approved Ordinance Number 93-44, which established the Quail West I and
III, Planned Unit Development; and
W~EREAS, William L. Vines of Vines and Associates, Inc.,
representing Quail West, Ltd., petitioned the Board of County
Commissioners of Collier County, Florida, to amend Ordinance Number
93-44, as set forth below;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County
Commissioners of Collier County, Florida, that:
SECTION ONE: AMENDMENT TO STATEMENT OF COMPLIANCE WIT~ GROWTH
MANAGEMENT PLAN
The Section entitled Statement of Compliance with Growth
Management Plan of the Quail West Phase I and III Planned Unit
Development (Ordinance No. 93-44, as amended) is hereby amended to read
as follows:
The Quail West Phase I project area is 531 acres. Phase
I land uses will consist of n ===imum =f Z25 single family
residences, an 18 hole championship golf course, a golf and
country club complex, accessory and utilitarian uses, and a
system of natural open space preserves. Phase II is located
in Lee County, and complies with applicable Lee County plans
and regulations. The Phase III project area is 323.19 acres.
The Phase III project land uses will consist of e-~
191 single family residences, 9 golf holes, accessory and
utilitarian uses and common open space. Quail West Phases I
and III contatninq a maximum of 516 sinule family residences
will be consistent with the growth policies, land development
regulations, and applicable Collier County Growth Management
Plan objectives for the following reasons:

Section 2.4 "Maximum Development Intensity", Quail West,
Phase I and II Planned Unit Development (Ordinance No. 93-44, as
amended) is hereby amended to read as follows=
Section 2.4 Maximum Development Intensity
No more than ~ 516 residential dwelling units may be
constructed in the Phase I and Phase III project area.

The maximum project density, therefore, will be a maximum of .604
units per acre.
SECTION THREE: AMENDMENT OF SECTION 3.2 MAXIMUM DWELLING UNITS
Section 3.2 "Maximum Dwelling Units", Quail West Phase I and
III Planned Unit Development (Ordinance No. 93-44, as amended) is
hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 3.2 Maximum Dwelling Units
A maximum of ~ 516 single family dwellings may be

SECTION FOUR: EFFECTIVE DATE
This Ordinance shall become effective upon filing with the
Department of State.
