WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 86-3 I, as ded by Ord.
No. 92~6, which crated the Marco Island Beach Renourishment and Public Access Municipal Service Taxing
Unit; and
WHEREAS, the Cit~ of Marco Island was created on August ~.8, 1997; and
WHEREAS, on March 30, 1998, the City of Marco Island terminated the Marco Island Beach
Renourishment and Public Access Municipal Service Taxing Unit by City Resolution No. 98-3-30A.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAFNED BY TtIE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA that:
~: REPEAL OF COLLIER COUNTY ORDFNANCE NO. 86-31. B amended.
Collier County Ordinance No. 86-3 I, as amended, is hereby repealed in iL~ entirety.
~: INCLUSION IN THE CODE OF LAWS AND ORDINANCE
The provisions of this Ordinance shall become and be made a part of the Code of l.,aws and Ordinances
of Collier County, Florida. The sections of the Ordinance may be tenumbered or re-lettered to accomplish
such, and the word 'ordinance* may b~ changed to *section*, *article*, or any other appropriate word.
~: CONFLIC"T AND SEVERABILITY
In the event this Ordinance conflicts with any other Ordinance of Collier County or other applicable
law, the more restrictive shall apply. If any phrase or portion of the Ordinance is held invalid or
unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction. such portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and
independent provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portion.
~: EFFECTIVE DATE
'~This OrdinanCe shall be effective upon filing with the Florida Department of State.
