__ INTERCHANGE ACTIVITY CENTER AND LIMITED TO MEDICAL
USE ONLY; BY PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND BY
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners adopted the Collier County Growth
Management Plan on January 10, 1989; and
WHEREAS, the property owners of 2.3 acres of land have submitted a request to amend
the Future Land Use Map of the Future Land Use Element of the Collier County Growth
Management Plan; and
WHEREAS, the request Is for a Future Land Use Map change limiting the use to medical
use only, and it involves less than 10 acres of land; and
WHEREAS, the amendmenl does not Involve a change Io any of the Goals, Objectives,
or Policies of the Plan; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Subsedion 163.3187(1)(c), Flodda Statutes, this amendment Is
considered a Small Scale Amendment; and
WHEREAS, all applicable substantive and procedural requirements o1 law have been
met; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Collier County, Flodda:
SECTION ONE: ADOPTION OF THE AMENDED FUTURE LAND USE ELEMENT MAP
This Ordinance as described herein shall be known as the 1998 Small Scale Amendment
for the Future Land Use Map of the Future Land Use Element of Collier County's Growth
Management Plan. The Amendment, aftached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as
Exhibit A, establishes the amended Future Land Use Map as a component of the Future Land
Use Element, an individual Element of Collier County's Growth Management Plan.
SECTION TWO: SEVERABILITY
I~ any phrase or portion of this Ordinance is held invalid or unconstitutional by any court
o~' competent Jurisdiction, such portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent
provlston and such holding shall not affect the validity of lhe remaining portion,
SECTION THREE: EFFECTIVE DATE
This Small Scale Amendment shall not become effective until 31 days after adoption. If
dlallenged wff. hln 30 days after adoption, this Small Scale Amendment shall not become
effective until the Slat6 Land Planning Agency or the Administration Commission, respectively,
issues a final order deterTnlnlng Ihe adopted Small Scale Development Amendment Is In
compliance.
