FEBRUARY 23, 1993
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
PROVIDING FOR ASSESSMENT OF LIEU, fOR TilE COST OF
THE ABATEMENT OF PUBLIC IIUISANCE, III ACCORDANCE
WITH ORDINANCE 91-47.
WHEREAS, as provided in Ordinance 91-47, the direct costs of
abatement of certain nuisances, including prescribed administrative
cost incurred by the County, shall be assessed against such property;
and
WHEREAS, the cost thereof to the County as to each parcel shall be
calculated and reported to the Board of County Commissioners, together
with a description of said parcel; and
WHEREAS, such assessment shall be a legal, valid and binding
obligation upon the property against which made until paid; and
WHEREAS, the assessment shall become due and payable thirty (30)
days after the mailing of Notice of Assessment after which interest
shall accrue at a rate of twelve percent (12.0%) per annum on any
unpaid portion thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, fLORIDA, that the prope~ty described
as follows, and having been abated of a public nuisance after due and
proper notice thereof to the owner of said property, is hereby assessed
the fallowing costs of such abatement, to wit:

LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
Beqinning at the Southwest corner of the Southwest Quarter (SW
1/4) of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of Section 4, in Township 47
south, Range 29 East, thence North 3 degrees 03 minutes West along
the West boundary of said Bection 4 330 feet, thence North 86 degrees
21 minutes East 16 1/2 teet to the East boundary of the county road
and the point of beginning of the land hereby conveyed; thence North
3 degrees 03 minutes West and along the East side of said county road
824 teet to an intersection with the West boundary of state Road No.
1'4; thence along the Westerly and Southerly boundary of said State
Road No. 164 in an Easterly direction a distance of 1005.3 feet to
the North boundary of the land of W. D. Roberts, which point is due
East of the point of beginning; thence South 86 degrees 21 minutes
West along the North boundary of said W. D. Roberts land 543 1/2 feet
to the point of beginning, containing 4.13 acres, more or less.

The Clerk of the Board shall mail a notice of assessment of lien
to the owner or owners of the above described property, and if such
owner fails to pay such assessment within thirty (30) days hereof, a
certified copy of this Resolution shall be filed in the Office of the
Clerk or Courts, in and for Collier County, Florida, to constitute a
lien against such property according to law, unles~ such direction is
stayed by this Board upon appeal of the assessment of the owner.

You, as the owner of the property above described, as
recorded in the records maintained by the office of the
Property Appraiser, are hereby advised that the Compliance
Ser~ices Manager, did on 9/23/92, order the abatement of a
certain nuisance existing on the above property prohibited by
Ordinance 91-47, serving notice thereof upon you, such
nuisance being:
Prohibited accumulation ot non-protected mowable
vegetation in excess of 18" in height in a SUbdivision
other than Golden Gate Estates.
You failed to abate such nuisance; whereupon, it was abated
by the expenditure of public funds at a direct cost of
$399.00 and administrative cost of $200.00 for a total of
$599.00. SUch costs, by Resolution of the Board of County
Commissioners of Collier COunty, Florida, have been assessed
against the above property on

become a lien on the property thirty (30) days after such
assessment.

You may request a hearing before the Board of County
Commissioners to show cause, if any, why the expenses and
charges incurred by the County under this Ordinance are
unwarranted or excessive or why such expenses should not
constitute a lien against the property. Such request for
hearing must be made to the Clerk of the Board of County
Commissioners, Government Center, Naples, Florida 33962 in
writing within thirty (JD) days from the date of this
assessment to be valid.
