RESOLUTION NO. 93- 61,
FEBRUARY 23, 1993
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUI/TY COMMISSIONERS
PROVIDING FOR ASSESSHENT OF LIEN, FOR THE COST OF
THE ABATEHENT OF PUBLIC NUISANCE, IN ACCORDANCp'
WITH ORDINANCE 91-47.
WHEREAS, as provided in Ordinance 91-47, the direct costs of
abatement of certain nuisances, including prescribed administrative
cost incurred by the County, shall be assessed against such property;
and
WHEREAS, the cost thereof to the County as to each parcel shall be
calculated and reported to the Board of County Commissioners, together
with a description of said parcelj and
WHEREAS, such assessment shall be a legal, valid and binding
obligation upon the property against which made until paidi and
WHEREAS, the assessment shall become due and payable thirty (30)
days after the mailing of Notice of Assessment after which interest
shall accrue at a rate of twelve percent (12.0\) per annum on any
unpaid portion thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the property described
as follo~s, and having been ab~ted of a public nuisance after due and
proper notice thereof to the o~ner of said property, is hereby assessed
the following costs of such abatement, to wit:

The Clerk of the Board shall mail a notice of assessment of lien
to the owner or owners of the above described property, and if such
owner fails to pay such assessment within thirty (30) days hereof, a
certified copy of this Resolution shall be filed in the Office of the
Clerk of Courts, in and for Collier County, Florida, to constitute a
lien against such property according to law, unless such direction is

Lot. 107 and 109, PORT-AU-PRINCE, according to the plat
thereot recorded in Plat Book 18, Page 51, ot the Public
Records ot Collier County, Florida.
You, as the owner of the property above described, as
reccrded in the records maintained by the office of the
Pro~erty Appraiser, are hereby advised that the Compliance
Services Manager, did on 10/14/92, order the abatement of a
certain nuisance existing on the above property prohibited by
Ordinance 91-47, serving notice thereof upon you, such
nuie,ance being:
Prohibited dumping, accumulation, storage or burial ot
litter, WAste or abandoned property.
You failed to abate such nuisance; whereupon, it was abated
by t.he expenditure of public funds at a direct cost of
$860.00 and administrative cost of $200.00 for a total of
$1,'>60.00. SUch costs, by Resolution of the Board of County
Comnlissioners of Collier County, Florida, have been assessed
against the above property on

You may request a hearing before the Board of County
COmDlissioners to show cause, if any, why the expenses and
charges incurred by the County under this Ordinance are
unwllrranted or excessive or why such expenses should not

hearing must be made to the Clerk of the Board of County
Commissioners, Government Center, Naples, Florida 33962 in
writing within thirty (30) days from the date of this
assessment to be valid.
