AND KATE PHILLIPS TO THE SMALL CITIES COMll'Qlft'rY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT CITIZENS ADVISORY 'ASK
FORCE.
WHEREAS, Collier County Resolution No. 85-236 established a
Baall Citiee Community Development Block Grant Citizens Advisory
Taak Force for Collier County; and
WHEREAS, Reeolution No. 85-236 provided tor the appointment
ot .eabers tor two year terms; and
WHEREAS, the members on the Citizens Advisory Task Force have
served for two terms; and
WHEREAS, Collier County ordinance No. 90-60 contirmed the
creation of the Baall Cities Community Development Block Grant
Citizene Advisory Task Force tor Collier County and provides that
the Citizens Adviaory Task Force shall consist ot 5 members; and
WHEREAS, the terms ot two (2) members expired on December 31,
1992; and
WHEP~, the Board ot County Commissioners previously
provided public notice SOliciting applications trom interested
partiea.
HOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIOHERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1) Warren Terrell Upson, representing the minority category,
ia hereby appointed to the Small Cities Community Development
Block Grant Citizens Advisory Task Force tor a two year term, said
tar. commencing on January 5, 1993 and expiring on December 31,
1994.
2) Kate Phillips, representing the community-at-Iarge
category, ia hereby appointed to the Small Cities Community
Development Block Grant Citizens Advisory Task Force tor a two
year term, said term commencing on January 5, 1993 and expiring on
December 31, 1994.
