A RESOLUTION APPROVING ANNUAL PAYMENTS FOR THE
SPECIAL WATER ASSESSMENT BY MARITIME VENTURE I,
INC. FOR THE GOODLAND MARINA PROPERTY PURSUANT TO
TilE WATER UTILITY SERVICE AGREEMENT FOR THE
GOODLAND MARINA DATED DECEMBER 12, 1989
WHEREAS, the Board of County commissioners of Collier county,
Florida, as the Governing Body of Collier County and Ex-Officio
the Governing Boards of the Goodland Water District and the Marco
Water and Sewer District and Maritime Venture I, Inc. entered into
a Water utility Service Agreement for the Goodland Marina on
December 12, 1989 wherein Maritime Venture I, Inc. agreed to pay
the Goodland Water District the sum of $85,055.26, representing
the $0.13 per square foot assessment levied by the Goodland Water
District for the right to connect to the Goodland water District's
potable water system and the special asseasment is due upon
connection to the Goodland Water system; and
WHEREAS, the Developer, Maritime Venture I, Inc., has
requested, that the special water assessment be billed on an
annual basis over the remaining life of the Goodland water
Assessments at an interest rate of 8% per annum on the unpaid
balance; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County commissioners as EX-Officio the
Governing Board of the Goodland Water District adopted Resolution
No. GW-83-2 on August 16, 1983 levying the special water
assessment lien on all the properties within the Goodland Water
District receiving a benefit from the construction of the potable
water system; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. GW-83-2 provides that the special
water assessment may be paid in twenty (20) annual installments at
an annual intorest rate of 8.0\ on tho unpaid balance; and
WHEREAS, the first annual payment was billed and became Llue
on November 1, 1983; and

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners as the Governing
Body of collier County and as Ex-Officio the Governing Boards of
the Goodland Water District and the Marco Water and Sewer District
finds it in the best interest of the Goodland Water District to
permit the special assessment that is contained in the Water
utility Service Agreement for the Good1and Marina dated December
12, 1989 to be paid in annual installments over the remaining life
of the Goodland Water District special assessment as contained in
R..olution No. GW-83-2.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS TilE GOVERNING BODY OF
COLLIER COUNTY AND AS EX-OFFICIO THE GOVERNING BOARDS OF TilE
GOODLAND WATER DISTRICT AND THE MARCO WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT,
that:
1. Maritime Venture I, Inc., the Developer of the Goodland
Marina property shall pay the amount of $8,505.53 within 10 days
of the adoption of this Resolution which shall constitute the
first installment of the total $85,055.26 assessment contained in
the Agreement dated December 12, 1989.
2. The Clerk shall create an assessment account under
Project No. 37000, Goodland Water Assessment, tor the total
assessment of $85,055.26 and issue annual installment bills over
the remaining life of the Goodland Water Assessment (9 years) to
Maritime Venture I, Inc., 3106 South Horseshoe Drive, Naples,
Florida 33942.
J. The assessment account tor tho Goodland Marina property
to be billed to Maritime Venture I, Inc. shall bear interest at
the rate of 8.0\ per annum on the unpaid balance.
4. The legal description of the property for the Goodland
Marina that is being liened for the special assessment is
described in Exhibit "An attached hereto and incorporated herein.
5. If the Developer sells, assigns or in any way transfers
any interest of the property described in Exhibit "A" to any other

person, corporation, entity, agency, etc. the entire amount owing
on the special water assessment at the time of transfer shall be
paid in full.
6. The Clerk is hereby directed to record this Resolution in
the Of!icial Records of Collier County, Florida, to evidenfe the
