IfOW THDEPOU, BB IT RESOLYBD BY THB BOARD OJ' COUNTY CONKIBSIOIIDS OJ' COLLID COUIfTY, FLORIDA, that: 1. Pursuant to Section 365.171(13/, Florida Statutes, tbere is hereby iaposed aeainst local exchan,e subscribers a local option fee for the provision of enhance "911" eaereency telephone service and equipaent in Collier County. This fee shall be adjusted annually to Cover allowable expen.es as de.cribed in Section 365.171(13(a)(6), Florida Statutes. For the period of Septeaber 30, 111114 throu,h Septeaher 30, 111115, the fee will be . .25 cents per subscriber per access line per aonth. 2. The County requests that the telephone coapany (exchan,e telephone service provider) providinc enhanced "911" service and equipaent to Collier County collect froa its subscribers within Collier County, the local option fee assessed by this Resolution and reait tbo.e fees to Collier County. 1M OOO,.~r 201 AP&IL 26, /994 .. . 3. Said telephone coapany, pursuant to Section 365.171(13)(c), Florida Statutes, aay retain as an adainistrative fee an aaount of one percent (IX) of the total "911" fees actually collected by said telephone coapsny. 4. Honey in reserve is bein, carried forward to provide for capital iaprove..nts described in Section 365.171(13)(a)(3), Plorida Statutes. Additional &Oney froa fiscal year 1994 revenues to be added to the total reserves shall not exceed ten percent (lOX) of such fees billed for the 1993 fiscal year. The cuaulative reserves are to pay for projected expansion and replaceaent of E911 equipaent ADd service features described in Section 365.171(a)(13)(6), Florida Statutes. All carry forward reserves shall be ad.iniatered in accordance with Section 365.171(a)(13), Florida Statutes. This Resolution adopted after aotion, second and aaJority vote for adoption.
