RESOLUTION NO. 94- 183
HARCH 22. 1994
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
PROVIDING FOR ASSESSMEIlT OF LIEN, FOR THE COST OF
THB ABATEKENT OF PUBLIC NUISANCE, IN ACCORDANCE
WITH ORDINANCE 91-47.
WHEREAS, aa provided in Ordinance 91-47, the direct costs ot
abat...nt ot certain nuisance., including prescribed administrative
cost incurred by the County, shall be assessed against such property;
and
WHEREAS, the cost thereof to the County as to each parcel shall be
calculated and reported to the Board of County Commissioners, together
with a description of said parcel; and
WHEREAS, such assessment shall be a legal, valid and binding
obligation upon the property against which made until paid; and
WHEREAS, the assessment shall become due and payable thirty (30)
days after the mailing of Notice of Assessment after which interest
shall accrue at a rate of twelve percent (12.0\) per annum on any
unpaid portion thereof.
NOlf, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
OOKKISSIOIfERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the property described
as follows, and having been abated of a public nuisance after due and
proper notice thereof to the owner of said property, is hereby assessed
the following costs of such abatement, to wit:

The Clerk of the Board shall mail a notice of assessment of lien
to the owner or owners of the above described property, and if such
owner fails to pay such assessment within thirty (30) days hereot, a
certified copy of this Resolution shall be filed in the Office ot the
Clerk of Courts, in and for Collier County, Florida, to constitute a
lien against such property according to law, unless such direction is

You, aa the owner ot the property above described, as
recorded in the records maintained by the office of the
Property Appraiser, are hereby advised that the Compliance
Services Manager, did on 8/10/'3, order the abatement of a
certain nuisance existing on the above property prOhibited by
Ordinance 91-47, serving notice thereot upon you, such
nuisance being:

Commi.sioners of Collier County, Florida, have been assessed
against the above property on March 22" 1994
and shall
become a lien on the property thirty (30) days after such

You may request a hearing before the Board of County
Commis.loners to show cause, it any, why the expenses and
charge. incurred by the County under this Ordinance are
unwarranted or excessive or why such expenses should not
con.titute a lien against the property. Such request for
hearing aust be made to the Clerk of the Board of County
Commi..ioners, Government Center, Naples, Florida 33962 in
writing within thirty (30) days from the date of this
assessment to be valid.
