Resolution 1997-437 RESOLUTION NO. 97-437
A RESOLUTION DECLARING A VACANCY ON THE
ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY TECtlNICAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 91-26 creating the Collier County
Environmental Policy Technical Advisory Board provides that the Board shall consist of nine (9)
members; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Conunissionmos, on June 18, 1991, adopted Collier
County Ordinance No. 91-46 which amends Ordinance No. 91-26 by providing that the Collier
County Environmental Policy Technical Advisory Board shall consist of eleven (I 1) members;
and
WIIEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 91-26, as amended, provides that any board
member who i: absent for more than one-half of the Board's Meetings in a given fiscal year shall
be deemed to have tendered his or hm° resignation for such Board; and
WHEREAS. the Environmental Policy Technical Advisory Committee has advised the
Board of County Commissioners that one member has failed to comply with the requirements set
for in Ordinance No. 91-26, as amended; and
WHEREAS, the Environmental Policy Technical Advisory Committee voted to request that
the Board of County Commissioners affirm thai a ~eat be declared vacant on their Committee;
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that after consideration of the facts
presented, the Board of County Commissioners hereby declares a seat vacant on the
Environmental Policy Technical Advisory Committee.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
