~lHEREAS, Collier County has recognized and attempted to
address the lac~ of adecluate and affordable housing for moderate,

for creative and innovative programs to assist in the provision
of such housing by including several provisions in the Collier

State lfollsing InitiFlti\/es Pdrtnership Program set forth in
Section t,7.0.907 _~_t._~.Qg. I florjda Statutes and Chapter 91-37,
Florida ^dministrntive Code; and

93-19, the County 1S nuthorized to use funding from the State
Housinq InitiCltives Partnership [SHIP] Program for l,./aivers of
Collier County impact fees; and
WHERE1...S, TmmoJ.:a.lee :lon-Profit Housing, Inc. is seeking a
waiver of impact fees; anel
\,HEREAS, IT;1T;1okalee lion-Profit Housing, Inc. will construct
one (1) three-bedroom unit (the llDwelling Unit'!) on Lot 4, Eden
Par}: 1st Addition Subdi\/l.sion, Immokalee l,./hich IS proposed to
sell for Fcrty Thousand Dollars ($40,000.00); and
