RESOLUfION NO. 96-571
A RESOLUfION APPOINTING DR. LOUIS J.
TRAINA TO THE COLLIER COUNTY
COUNCIL OF ECONOMIC ADVISORS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commission.... adopted Ordinance No. 94-26 on May 10,
1994, establishing the Collier county Council of Economic AdviSOB to provide assistance,
advice, rqx>rts and recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners regarding efficient
and effective methods that the Board of County Commissioners can use to increase economic
opportunities and increase and diversifY the economic base in Collier County; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 96-14, amended Ordinance No. 94-26, as amended, by
increasing the number of voting members from 12 to 18 and removing the non-voting alternate
category; and
WHEREAS, there is currently a vacancy on this board; and
WHEREAS, the Boanl of County Commissiooen previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Dr. Louis J. Traina is hereby
appointed to the Collier County Counsel of Economic Adviso," to fulfill the remainder of the
vacant term, aaid term to expire on August 2, 1998.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
