RESOLUTION NO. 96-498
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO
THE BLACK AFFAIRS ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, Collier County adopted Ordinance No. 91-38 creating the Black Affairs
Advisory Board and provides that the Advisory Board shall consist of seven (7) members; and
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 91-77 amended Ordinance No. 91-38 by
providing that the Advisory Board shall consist of nine (9) members; and
WHEREAS, there are currently two (2) vacancies on this board; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that;
I. Frederick D. Morgan, II, is hereby appointed to the Black Affairs Advisory Board to
fulfill the remainder of the vacant term, said term to expire on June 25, 1997.
2. Vivienne Johnson Niehaus is hereby appointed to the Black Affairs Advisory Board to
fulfill the remainder of the vacant term, said term to expire on June 25, 1998.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
