RESOLUTION NO. 96 - ~
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING U.S. REPRESENTATIVE LUIS E.
ROJAS TO OCCUPY AND USE PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE
COLLIER COUNTY GOVERNMENT COMPLEX, ADMINISTRATION
BUILDING, THIRD FLOOR, IN ACCORDANCE WITH A LEASE
AGREEMENT FOR SAME.
WHEREAS, Collier County has certain vacant office space in the Administration
Building, Third Floor. of the Government Complex (the "Vacant Office Space"), and
WHEREAS. Representative Luis E. Rojas is desirous of entering into a Lease Agreement
with Collier County to lease the Vacant Office Space for a period of two (2) years, for the sole
purpose of operating a United States government office, and
WHEREAS, the Collier County Facilities Management Director has reviewed and
approved the terms and conditions for the use of the Vacant Office Space, as outlined in the
attached Lease Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS, COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA that:
I. The Board of County Commissioners is satisfied that the Vacant Office Space is not
needed for County purposes and is required for Representative Luis E. Rojas' use.
2. Collier County shall enter into the Lease Agreement with Representative Luis E.
Rojas, and Representative Luis E. Rojas is hereby authorized to use the Vacant Office Space for
the purpose of operating a United States government office in accordance with the terms and
conditions stated in the Lease Agreement attached hereto.
3. The annual rent shall be Ten Dollars ($10.00).
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
